Theses and dissertations can be an important part of your research. Often, they contain a thorough literature review which can help you track down resources. When you are working on your thesis or dissertation, it is important that you are aware of all other research being done in your topic so you don't repicate someone else's work.

- Dissertation Abstracts Over 2 million dissertations and theses from U.S., Canadian, and European institutions.

Thesis abstracts since 1988 - Physics Department Senior Theses Online access; arranged by year, 1999-date.
- D-Space at William and Mary Digital repository for records and research; includes senior and honors theses.

Physical Standards for Theses and Dissertations. These are the requirements for formatting your thesis or dissertation.
January 2009 graduates and those graduating in subsequent semesters/years must adhere to the new guidelines which have minor revisions dated 7/25/08.

Swem doesn't have the item? - Complete an Inter-Library Loan request. Note that first-time users have to register to use this service.
It's in Off-Site Storage (SOSS)? - On the purple bar at the top of the search window, click the "Find and Request" link, then "Swem Off-Site Storage." The form will automatically be completed with the information from the last item you viewed.
